Beijing Chang'an Avenue Architectural Lighting Project

As a key project for enhancing the city’s image, this initiative not only adds dazzling brilliance to the capital’s nighttime landscape but also serves as a window showcasing China’s achievements in modernization. Through carefully designed lighting arrangements, the project seamlessly integrates iconic buildings along Chang’an Avenue with historical and cultural elements. It highlights the solemnity and grandeur of national symbols such as Tiananmen Square and the Great Hall of the People, while using soft, warm-toned lights to outline the silhouettes of more than 30 buildings—including Beijing’s Zhengyang Gate and the Memorial Hall of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression—creating a unique nighttime scene that beautifully juxtaposes the ancient and the modern. This project not only underscores Beijing’s fashionable allure as an international metropolis but also conveys to the world China’s innovative wisdom in urban development and cultural preservation.
