Qianhai Bay Landscape Lighting Enhancement Project

The Qianhai Bay Landscape Lighting Enhancement Project represents a systematic reimagining of light and shadow along the 15-kilometer coastal belt surrounding Qianhai Bay, illuminating nearly 80 buildings. Guided by the design philosophy of “embodying the sea’s name, shaping its form and rhythm, and celebrating its spirit,” the project strives to ensure that every beam of light precisely conveys the zeitgeist of Qianhai Bay and the majestic vitality of the ocean. On December 21, 2025, the 15th National Games came to a splendid close at the Qianhai Happy Theater in Shenzhen. This grand event, hailed as a “city‑wide panoramic closing ceremony,” transcended the physical confines of traditional stadiums, using the vast expanse of Qianhai Bay’s seascape as its stage and the dazzling skyscrapers of a modern metropolis as its backdrop, thereby painting a breathtaking tableau of “a starry sea.”
