Qianhai Bay Landscape Lighting Enhancement Project
The Qianhai Bay Landscape Lighting Enhancement Project is a systematic reimagining of light and shadow along the 15-kilometer coastal belt surrounding Qianhai Bay, encompassing nearly 80 buildings. Guided by the design philosophy of "Embracing the Sea’s Name, Capturing Its Form and Rhythm, and Celebrating Its Spirit," the project strives to ensure that every beam of light precisely conveys Qianhai Bay’s zeitgeist and the ocean’s majestic aura. On December 21, 2025, the 15th National Games came to a splendid close at the Happy Theater in Shenzhen’s Qianhai District. This grand event, hailed as the “Citywide Panoramic Closing Ceremony,” broke free from the physical boundaries of traditional stadiums, using the vast expanse of sea and sky over Qianhai Bay as its stage and the dazzling skyscrapers of this modern metropolis as its backdrop—thus successfully painting an awe-inspiring masterpiece titled “Stars and Seas.”
