Floodlighting Project for the Shenzhen Sports Center Renovation and Upgrade Project

As one of the key competition venues for the 15th National Games, the Shenzhen Sports Center has undergone five years of renovation and upgrading, emerging anew as a multifunctional urban sports complex that integrates professional competitions, mass fitness, public leisure, cultural and sports exchanges, group activities, and transportation hubs. The venue’s exterior features streamlined aluminum-magnesium-manganese panels paired with glass curtain walls, resembling a “ribbon of light” that redefines the city’s skyline as a continuous, luminous beam—a visual focal point for the urban landscape. The project’s floodlighting design closely adheres to the theme of “minimalist aesthetics,” adopting a warm, understated lighting palette that infuses the architectural texture with both technological rationality and human warmth. The luminaires are equipped with built-in DMX512 chips, enabling users to switch effortlessly among various thematic animations with a single button press.
